Bicycle Patrol

Police patrol consists of many different methods. The use of the bicycle is an effective tool to the police officer. It can be used in many different locations and situations where a patrol car cannot be used. The bicycle is a supplement to the patrol car, not a replacement.

The Columbus Police Department uses the Bicycle Patrol frequently to patrol the City and for special events.
